At Little Scholars, we believe the best learning happens when kids are having fun, trying new things, and discovering what makes them light up. Our extracurriculars are all about giving your child those “I did it!” moments—while building skills that last a lifetime.
Extracurricular Activities

Swimming Lessons
Splish, splash, and confidence in every stroke! We partner with the Missouri Valley YMCA to offer swimming lessons where your child learns water safety, movement, and stamina. Whether they’re just getting comfortable in the water or ready to show off their new skills, every lesson is a win.

Gymnastics
Balance, tumble, roll—and grow! At the Bismarck Gymnastics Academy, your child will build strength, coordination, and self-awareness. It’s not just about cartwheels (though those are fun!); it’s about discovering what their body can do and feeling proud of every new skill.

Gardening
Tiny hands, big discoveries. Gardening lets kids dig in, get messy, and learn the patience it takes to watch something grow. Along the way, they’ll care for living things, work with friends, and taste the fruits (and veggies) of their labor. Bonus: they’ll learn just how good fresh food can be.

Music
Music is woven into our days—singing, dancing, and making joyful noise with instruments. It’s more than fun: music helps with brain development, language, math, memory, and even social skills. Every beat and melody is a chance to learn and connect.

Learning New Languages
We’re excited to offer Spanish and American Sign Language alongside our curriculum. Research shows that learning a second language boosts problem-solving, memory, and focus. Plus, it’s just plain cool to see your child sign “more” or say “hola” with confidence.

Sports
Teamwork, problem-solving, and a whole lot of fun. Sports help kids build self-esteem, make friends, and stay active. Whether it’s soccer, relay races, or a friendly game of tag, our sports activities are designed to get everyone moving and smiling.
